The study visit will convene EU stakeholders working towards an end to homelessness in the city of Munich to learn through a hands-on approach from the local, state and federal homelessness strategies, policies and services. Participants will attend presentations on policy frameworks and funding mechanisms. Furthermore, facilitated visits to homelessness services in the city allow participants to engage with practices in the field. The study visit is intended, not only to learn about the city's practices and services, but also for participants to bring and share their own experiences, practices and approaches to the conversation. To this end, participants who can best share their experiences, and who can best disseminate their learnings back to their work and networks, will be accepted to attend. The Study Visit will be held entirely in English.

The study visit is kindly hosted by the City of Munich's Office for Housing and Migration and the Coordination of Homeless Assistance Southern Bavaria's Working Group for Emergency Housing Assistance in Munich and Upper Bavaria, in collaboration with the Federal Ministry for Housing, Urban Development and Building (BMWSB) and The Federal Association for Homeless Assistance (BAG W).
