The Housing Finance and Development Centre of Finland has released its report for 2017 which states that homelessness in Finland has dropped in almost all categories. The report quotes a decrease of 111 families in emergency accommodation, with significant drops as well in long-term homelessness, in addition to homelessness among women and children. The only category that rose was homelessness with young people aged below 25, a worrying trend across Europe. For more information, see here.
